As a spiritual development tool this system is an original, fresh and valuable contribution to the pool of arcane knowledge. The Quantum Tarot comes neatly packaged in a highly transportable case containing cards and a small 200 page instruction booklet for easy referencing. The cards display multi faceted imagery of stunning space shots, subtly blended with silhouettes and traditional symbolism, contemporary photography and computer graphics in high-contrast saturated colour. The cards are silver embossed around the edges, which is a nice touch.

What makes this deck stand out is its brave attempt to strengthen the links between Science and Spirituality, by presenting a system that successfully integrates Quantum Physics, Myth and traditional Tarot symbolism. The creators haven't strayed from the established names for the Major and Minor Arcana but have added a different dimension through the use of shadowy figures, beautiful colours and stellar lore. The people in the court cards appear a bit like static portraits, whereas it would have been nice for there to have been a little more suggestive symbolism in the those cards, portraying deeper levels of meaning for each character.

You could happily just jump straight in and use one of the four different spreads suggested and begin reading right away, or you could digest the booklet thoroughly to get an overall view of the system first. The interpretations are eloquently written, and comprehensive to novice and advanced students alike, presenting a healthy mixture of myth, science, spiritual guidance. The questions at the end of each interpretation give the opportunity for further reflection, whether reading for a client or for yourself.

This deck will appeal to those students of the Tarot seeking to know themselves a little better through reflection and understanding of the Quantum Universe. If you worked with this system for a while, and imbued its wisdom and knowledge, it could provide you with a solid foundation for future personal, psychic and spiritual development, as well as being a great set of cards to read for friends and family.
