An Evening of Clairvoyance with Steven Holbrook 12th Nov 2008

The "Holbrook experience" was, to put it mildly, an emotional roller coaster of tears and laughter for all concerned. His obvious popularity can only be attributed to his down to earth style of platform Mediumship, the confidence and ease with which he grips and audience, and the way in which he articulates his messages.

The explanation about his stubborn reluctance to change his style of working, to be transformed into a "TV medium", only contributed to the respect from this evening's audience.

As this was my first "Holbrook experience" I hadn't previously heard the story of his spiritual guide "Archie May", who literally takes over the use of his left arm while he works with his link to the spirit world. I have seen a lot of mediums performing over the years and I was suitably impressed with the candour and grace with which Stephen carried his demonstration.

It wasn't just life after death that was on the menu either, we were blessed with an array of new life predictions for numerous recipients. Steven skilfully engages his audience while providing clear, concise messages from the spirit world, with compassion, empathy and understanding for those with whom he speaks (from either side).

If this is the kind of show to expect on a regular basis then it is hardly surprising that there was barely an empty seat in the hall!
